If you have the excellent LiquidAUX interface for your car and are experiencing a ground loop problem (a constant background hum) you can get a free ground loop isolator from Kensington by calling their tech support hotline at (800) 535-4242. You'll need to have the LiquidAUX remote with you when you call...they'll ask you for some info from the inside of the battery cover. If you haven't seen the LiquidAUX (which I'm now using instead of my Toyota iPod interface kit...which should really have the word "kit" replaced with something else that rhymes) you can check it out below: http://www.amazon.com/Kensington-LiquidAUX-Auxiliary-Remote-iPhone/dp/B0011UK2HE
Nice tip. It's really great (and a bit surprising) that Kensington would give folks something to fix a problem that isn't really of their creation (I've fought group loop issues in almost every car I've owned with all kinds of equipment). That's true customer service. I have one of these and had a little hum at speed. I just ran out and bought a ground loop isolator, and everything is better now.
