According to several reports from UK dealers, Toyota GB is going to increase the price of the Prius in the UK in October by £700 on the T3 and T4; and £900 on the T-Spirit. Plus VAT goes back up from 15% to 17.5% in the new year. So the real increases are: T3 - currently £18,390 going up to £19,612 in 2010 T4 - currently £20,010 going up to £21,267 in 2010 T-Spirit - currently £21,230 going up to £22,749 in 2010
Hiya Wooski I was told that by my dealer as well! I'm currently trying to sell my '59 T SPIRIT (it's a long story!!). But I'm hoping this will help the sale along a little as I'm only looking for £19,950 for it in Autotrader! Any tips on how to sell the car anyone? It's only 2.5 weeks old with just over 200 miles on it. (By the way I love the Prius....... could just do with the money at the mo!) Cheers
Really sorry you have to sell your car. Most of those cars on Autotrader are relatively high mileage demo cars.
I know, I really love the car as well, but when you need money..... you need money! Have you any suggestions? I've currently got mine on there and it's the cheapest T-SPIRIT in the UK at the moment! I'm just hoping that someone can't be bothered waiting the 14 weeks or whatever it is, and would like to save a few grand while they are at it! Everything is crossed at the mo!
Sounds like you're being sensible, which is to be congratulated. Good luck with the sale - I can only suggest you also try eBay.
