I've had my Prius for a few days now and I have come to love the SKS. But I have a complaint. No matter how hard I try, I can't get it to open the front door of my house.... Seriously though, is there any way to get a front door home lock that would accept the smart key for entry. You may say I'm a dreamer, but I see a future of no keys in my pocket. All I need to realize this dream is a home front door smart key hack. Anyone?
Nope, but I did get an electronic keypad lock for the door into my garage because I hated having to dig my keys out of my purse just for that! :-D Now I am totally keyless except for my mailbox.
Don, Kind of: www dot akmelock dot com (I don't have enough posts to post a URL yet... It won't use the smart key, but if you give it the finger, it'll open right up.
There's a Fingerprint Door Lock for just regular doors (like from your garage to the utility room), Fingerprint Deadbolt Door Locks (for the front door) and there's Fingerprint Garage Door Openers, they work GREAT, we have ALL three! You can google Bioaccess BD1 and Fingerprint Door Locks, that will bring up the majority of manufacturers who offer these items. With these items and the SKS, we are COMPLETELY keyless. If you check the AKME LOCK DOT COM site and look at: Biolock 333 fingerprint remote control lockV this unit comes with a remote to open the lock! Good Luck!
I said the same thing to a friend! In fact, I'd go a step further and have one of those proximity chips embedded somewhere on my body and have it control everything I access! (including the Prius) She said the biblical implications were too great.
