I am not a "green" person

I'm don't try to be green at all. The condition of the earth just doesn't interest me all.

 

I bet if you lived to be 100+ years old you may take a bigger interest in how we are destroying the earth.

Well, I should be more "green" conscious than I currently am. I bought a prius not exactly for the "green" reason, but it would be nice to think that I'm helping out in some ways. I've read from several places saying that the prius is not as environmentally friendly as people think throughout its life cycle. Can anyone point me to some reliable factual references disputing or confirming such arguments?

There are 3 reasons why I purchased a 2010 Prius, and my priorities, starting with the highest, are:

1. They are less polluting (greener).
2. They are more fuel efficient.
3. They are full of interesting electronic devices.
