Obviously, the thief also took the Prius' key fob as well. This raises the question as to whether the thief was keyless entry knowledgeable before the theft. If not, there must have a very nerve wracking exchange: "Lady, gimme the keys to the car... "Goddamit, I said gimme the keys... "This little box is the keys, and just how stupid do I look? "Lady, I'm really getting pissed..." etc.
