Some of us paid extra to have a suspension like that in our cars.

Last winter I bought Continental ContiVikingContact 3 for my Gen 2.
    size 185/65-15.

They were among the top rated winter tires (Bridgestone, Nokian, Continental) and said to surpass Blizzaks and last longer. All that with a lower price. It cost me 445$ cnd shipped from BC to Quebec.

I did not put a lot of miles on them, but for the traction part I'm very pleased. The TCS rarely kicks in... and don't forget I live up north in Quebec.

Is there anyone from the Calgary, AB area here? If so, what kind of winter tires do you use? When to you put them on and when do you take them off? I have a 2008 prius.

    Thank you.

I plan on getting Yokohama IG20s when the time comes. They wear well and stick like glue. I was able to outrun sport utilities in my Crown Vic last winter. ;)
