Sounds like you better start car shopping now. You only have about 42 weeks to go on your Prius.

For my 2008 Prius I traded in my Mitsubishi Mighty Max which I had for 20 Yrs with no major
pars replacement. I expect my Prius to the same or better. Of course I'll be gone by then!!! :))

I had the Highlander 19 months, so it's either 42 weeks or 70 weeks to go.:p

I had problems with the Highlander and the electronic power steering link, and didn't get anywhere close to the 27 mpg average. The dealer replaced that and a computer module, but when the '10 was released I decided to downsize the ride and upsize the mpgs. With the hatchback I get almost all of the utility I had with the Highlander, without the cost.

I bought mine outright, got a really good deal so didn't need to trade anything on it, got it for a little over sticker, but that included tax, title, license, dealer fees, etc. Did that in 4-08, and was considering two weeks ago of going to a Fusion Hybrid, especially after driving one and finding it so much nicer and better handling than the Camry, but decided it would cost more in the long run than if I just added what the Camry is lacking, leather and a decent ride. Sorry Ford, Great car, too pricey. Going to get a leather kit and install new leather on the seats and doors, replace the wheels with 17" ones, and a set of Michelin Primacy tires. That should improve the handling a bit, if not, I got a line on some lowering springs that will stiffen it up a bit.

    Oh and electric blue flames.

I traded a 2002 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L with 3.0 V6. Only had 60k miles on the Honda, but wanted to try a hybrid so finally made a deal with a local dealer. Probably could have done better if I didn't trade, but just didn't have time to sell my Honda by myself. Overall, feel like I got a good deal and really like the HyCam. Mileage is much better than the 33/34 that was on the sticker. Of course I'm sure the mileage will go down when the colder winter sets in and not looking forward to that time. BTW -- I saw other posts where a block heater on a timer turned on several hours before you drive will help with gas mileage in the winter -- seems logical ... has another put on the block heater?

We also bought our 2007 TCH outright, deciding to keep our '91 Mazda B2600i 4x2 Cab Plus SE-5 pickup and our '92 Camry LE 4. Both of these were purchased brand new and still run reliably.

Due to Toyota's attractive incentive financing, I traded the '07 TCH on a new 2010 TCH just a week ago. I upgraded to the heated leather seats and NAV but chose the same color (magnetic grey). We had 42k miles on the '07 TCH. It was totally trouble-free but the OEM Bridgestone Turanzas were in need of replacing.

I wrote a detailed comparison between the '07 and the '10 TCH on the ToyotaNation site.
