OK a couple of observations after driving it a little: 1. In the HDD player, if you keep the repeat button held down it activates 'album repeat' mode, which is the natural way of listening I think (so after an album ends it goes back to the first song of the same album, instead of starting to play the alphabetically next recorded album) 2. The CD player does pick up CD text, but it doesn't record using the CD text info. So even though the CD player says "Beastie Boys" for artists and "Five boroughs" for album, the HDD still rips it as "No artist" and a datestamp for the album name. 3. How do you guys rename the "no artist" albums? I rip the CD, then play a song in the album, then click on options, click on current album, and then edit artist and album. Is there an easier/faster way? Can I change the details before recording? 4. How do you transfer contacts to the prius' phonebook? I have a Nokia and it has connected perfectly (sound quality is good, automatically connects) but if I want a contact I have to either add it manually or dial from the phone. 5. Any other suggestions/customisations which you guys have found? Soundwise I think the car has a great bass response but the treble is really shrill on the high end, do you guys find it to be the same? I hope the September arrivals are having fun, AR
I got mine today! HOW EXCITED AM I???? The only thing that is annoying me about the Hard Disc recorder - is that it doesn't know my NOW albums! I've got about 90 of them!!! Am I going to have to type all the songs and titles in? That's going to drive me NUTS! Where has everyone gone? Out playing in their cars maybe? Just a guess!
Mine arrvied yesterday too - Have you seen the size of the 2 main manuals ?? Talk about light reading..not! lol Quite impressed so far although not had much time to 'play' as yet. Slightly disappointed with the amount of road noise, although it seems a check/adjust of the tire pressures may sort that?
Mines arrived and I was supposed to collect it this morning... but I can't have it because of the postal strike and my insurance certificate being somewhere in a 2 week backlog at the sorting office.
I placed my order on 13/09/09 for a t-Spirit but the dealer wasn't able to confirm any time scale other than 12 - 16 weeks. Current vehicle (407SW) is dieing on me slowly so I am hoping it arrives sooner than that. Does anyone know what the current lead time is in weeks? Very excited!
Hiya Congrats on your purchasing decision and welcome to PriusChat :welcome: Lead times are currently based on the next available UK allocation which starts in January (dealers are restricted in how many they can sell over a set period) Anyhoo - unless you are lucky enough to be in the area of a dealer who still has some stock from the current allocation you are almost certainly looking at a January delivery. Don't worry - the wait will be over in no time
JANUARY?!?!?! That sucks!!!! My decision to buy was based on a 12 week lead time as my MOT and Tax expires Jan 5th.... Oh dear :-( Floppy
Phone all the dealers within a really good radius and ask if they have any cars available (from their present allocation or maybe even demonstrators ) before your D-day. Good luck :thumb:
Ordered T Spirit with LED Sept 17th told lead time of 3rd week of Jan wish i could of ordered earlyer my scrapage car needs an mot mid dec lol
sounds about right, I revised my order to include LEDs on 7th August and I'm still being told 12th Dec at the dealer, 18th Dec delivery I'm just in the middle of an extended test drive (I know, daft 'cos I've already ordered) but it's useful time to get to understand the Prius better. I just got 60MPG on a 35 mile journey without any clever hypermiling so I'm pretty comfortable with my decision One thing I have discovered is that the main reason I went for the Technology pack (the dimming rear view mirror) seems to be a waste of money, the spoiler does a decent job of cutting glare... but I'm not changing my order again. Count yourselves lucky. My wife ordered the new Fiesta Titanium +BT,USB and Parking sensors before I ordered my Prius TSpirit. I have had that over 2 months now and she is still waiting. Looks like she is going to get it on the 15th so not long now but it will be almost 20 weeks she has waited for it!!
well 14 weeks would be christmas eve so mid to late jan looks about right definatly cant wait my current car trys to die on me almost every day i see another Prius on order in herts .....
My dealer called today to advise me that the delivery date is scheduled for 12th December which would be perfect! Fingers crossed - i'm v excited (can you tell?) Floppy.
This date has now been bumped out to the 30th november. Damn now the baby (due 18th November) will come first!
