Orange Warning Light Is On!

    The orange warning light on my 2005 comes on when the gas motor starts and then stays on for the duration of the trip. We can back out or go ahead on battery at initial start up and the light does not come on, but once the gas motor fires up that is when the light comes on. The owners' manual states that this light has something to do with the regenerative braking/braking system. Our local Toyota dealer replaced the brake capacitor, but that did not solve the problem. Our dealer seems to feel the problem is that one wire has no power but should have. Has anyone run into a problem with this orange light before, and what was done to solve the problem? Our local dealer also said that this is not covered by the hybrid warranty. Has anyone had any experience with this?

    Which orange light? The yellow outline of an engine, the big
    red triangle, or maybe the little (O) brake icon?

    The book calls it a Yellow indicator light (o) icon
