Where is the 'I can't count that high' choice?

I think it is the most popular car where I work.

heck I have only seen 5 others in El Paso (1 white, 1 salsa, 3 driftwood including my wife's)

 

three prii (including mine) and a honda civic hybrid.

 

4 2nd gen, 1 1st gen, and a civic hybrid. The bay area is crawling with Prii, so I imagine there will be quite a few in this category.

I am the only employee with a Prius. We have very small employment demands so our staff is small, so that isn't all that surprising. We have dedicated parking spaces that we own, but it is not large enough to hold all of our vehicles, so we also rent space nearby. That space is shared with other organizations and there might be another person who parks in that lot along with me.

 

I work at the Cisco Systems campus in San Jose and between 3 buildings (including mine) there are at least 8 with 4 of them at one building (not mine).

I am in the IT department so it seems kind of fitting that I would start the trend at our company. We recently moved from Philadelphia to Swedesboro New Jersey and a lot of peoples commutes went from 1 to 5 miles to more like 20 to 30 miles. I hear it every day now. I just keep smiling. Former vehicle 1988 Ford F250 5.7 liter engine 8 miles per gallon.

What building are you located? I see like 6 or so in the Mipitas (99 Ranch) site.

 

I work at a high-tech company - our local campus has over 6,000 employees. There are at least 6-8 Prii in the parking lot that I use, and there are 7 or 8 parking lots in all. I'm sure that there are Prii here that I've never even seen. :mrgreen:

Big HighTech company, lots of different offices, lots of Prius's. I think the most common color is the Silver, but there are some Red's and Blacks too. The 2k4 and 2k5's really stand out, but I've seen 2K1's and 2 as well.

 

here at Duke I think the total in my particular lot is 6. but there are about 20 parking lots around campus. so i'm sure it's a lot higher than that.
i keep seeing them drive by me as i walk out to my car. i'm just waiting for the day someone drives by as i'm getting in and they stop and say hi.

 

Im the only student at my school that actually DRIVES a Prius to school. There are 2 other students who's parents drive a Prius. But there is another guy with an Insight. We park next to each other.
At work, Im the only one. At Church there are about 8 or 9 including mine.

 

most prius owners at Duke are middle aged. you know, 40ish. one very old professor emeritus as well.

i think i'm the youngest and cutest prius driver there.

 

aww, that's cute. i think that's a sweet thing to say. it would probably make my day, especially at the end of the day. so here's hoping someday it happens to you, ha!

 

We have two tidelands at my school. One of the kids gets dropped off by his grandfather in salsa and the principal drives a hybrid Escape.

We have over 1500 people here at this place and all I've ever seen is one other Prius - a silver one. Pretty sad, huh? Its mostly pickups and SUVs here :roll: (Texas), although it seems that since the gas prices have gone past $2 there seems to be more small cars than before :mrgreen: .
