I must be the luckiest new Prius owner out there. My process was a total breeze compared to some of you. I went to the dealership on August 24th, took a test drive, ordered the car, and it arrived this morning! This is actually the fastest that I've gotten a Toyota. I had to wait months for my first Corolla (foreign car quotas back in the 80s). And I had to wait a few weeks for my last Corolla because I wanted an option package they didn't have.
Congrats. Mine arrived in 5 days instead of the projected 11. It's only the 2nd car I bought and had to wait. Usually I take delivery after the test drive.
Blue Ribbon metallic with the Nav package. Of course, the reason I had such good luck is probably because I wasn't too choosy about the interior color (and ended up with the bisque).
I walked in the dealer just before the CFC deal started and asked about a PkgII in red and he said they are unloading one now. 3hrs later I was driving it home.
