I am writing a letter to send to Toyota about what my dealer did after my sale. I can't figure out where to send it. I have this: Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. 19001 South Western Ave. Dept. WC11 Torrance, CA 90501 I figure if I send it to the main address it wouldn't do anything good I want to send it to the eastern regional manager. Does anyone know the address and/or person to contact to get the info?
It's should be something of note to Toyota. Following this forum I've read so many posts about how people love The Prius, but have had horrible experiences with their dealership. I know there are good dealerships and good people but there are quite a lot of complaints. The frustrating thing is the majority of things upsetting consumers are usually relatively minor. For the first time in my life I'm seriously considering obtaining my Prius through my credit unions automobile purchasing service. Maybe I won't get as good a deal as if I went to a dealership and battled and haggled for a day or more, BUT hopefully I would side step a lot of the BS people seem to get from a lot of their dealers. Good luck, I hope your efforts result in some remedy.
I wrote about the problem on my Prius blog Another frustrating tale from a Toyota dealer and then there is more
Well, Toyota is no Lexus and will never be because it serves a different demographic. This was obvious even at Manhattan Beach Toyota. I simply bought the car sight unseen over the Internet from Longo Toyota and had them delivered it to my house (complimentary delivery within 100 miles, which Longo Lexus also offers). You will probably get better service if you locate a combined Toyota/Lexus franchise. It was just as easy as our at-dealer Lexus purchase.
When you get your customer survey from toyota sales. Make sure you resond and use upto the 40 words text limit. also call Toyota's Customer Experience Center at 800-331-4331. Dealers live and die by these customer surveys that go back to toyota. Also it rolls down hill fast call the VP of Customer service. your will get results. good luck
I would call anyone but I have no hire up numbers. Thanks for the 800# I got a survey in the mail from the dealer themselves
A couple of days ago I sent a letter to: Mr. Yuki Funo Chief Executive Officer Toyota Motor Sales USA 19001 S Western Ave Torrance, CA 90501-1196 If he doesn't fix the mud flap and body side molding supply shortage (there aren't any OEM's in the USA), then I'll write to whoever the head man is in Japan. (I'm sure Prius Team helps whenever they can, but they can only do so much. Depending upon your dealer problem, you may want to write to Mr. Funo. Personally, I've had pretty good success in getting problems resolved (when normal avenues have failed) by going directly to top management in major corporations. It's their personal assistants who actually respond.)) Good luck! Greg
Very frustrating! I complained aboutmy last two experiences with Toyota. Not sure if anything came of it. I know I got some sort of appology from them. Thankfully this time I had a really nice experience with the Prius at a different dealership. I think it is ridiculous what the salesman did to you. If the pinstripes and rubber stuff was not already on the car, I don't know how he could force you to pay for them. Such a scam.
The rubber was but they don't do pinstriping on Prius cars anyway according to their service department. So the salesman fed me a line a bs. It is now more than a week after I was told I would be getting $100 refund for the pinstriping and I still haven't received it. I got a call my plates & reg. came in and I asked them to ship it. Hopefully they really do!
NJ is part of the New York Region: New York Region 16 Henderson Dr. West Caldwell, NJ 07006 973-575-7600 I'd like to think that someone in the organization cares but I doubt it as Prius sales are too strong. I'd hold off on the survey until all options are exhausted. If nothing works then return the survey with the lowest marks across the board as it is time to return the screw.
