How many miles were on your 2010 Prius upon delivery?

Blue III had 3 miles - picked it up yesterday in Lewiston, ID and drove back to Vancouver, WA today. Ordered it on the phone as the dealer was willing to go out and look for it, unlike closer dealers. They trucked it in since I said no driving. Drove 350 miles back at all speeds - about half interstate - 50 mpg.

 

It's interesting to see the variation in miles.

Mine had 6.

(0.6) ~ 1 mile. Vallejo CA. Salesman called me when it was still on the truck with the rest of the batch of cars. Told him I wanted it the next day. The dealer installed my requested dealer options that day. Thanks Priuschat, some of those options were for minor problems mentioned here. My wife took a picture of the odometer during the walk-thru at pickup. Can't be happier knowing that it's quite spanking new ....

 

2 for my Blue II from Longo in So. Cal.

 

My 2010 had 5 miles on it when I took delivery. Looks like they brought it up to operating temperature and gassed it up...and nothing more. That's just the way I like it...now I know the break-in will be done correctly.

My 2010 II had 27 miles on it. It arrived on a Saturday, and I went and picked it up that Monday. My salesman said he had to hide the keys to keep people from wanting to drive it. Before we went out and checked the OD, he said he expected there to be like 5-6 miles or so. When it showed 27, I was kind of surprised, and he made up some BS that because it was a hybrid, they tested it more that the factory, hence more miles. Maybe somebody at the port drove it for a bit?

 

My 2010 was delivered off the truck with 3 miles. My salesperson would not allow any other potential buyers to drive it since I've already put the deposit on it. After test drive, I took delivery with 5 miles on the odometer.

Black 2010 Prius IV with JBL audio/BT - My paperwork said 3 (which I signed), then when I got in the car to drive it home I saw that it had 12. I figure they took it for a test drive, plus they filled the tank, so they had to drive it to the nearest gas station anyway.

 

2010 Blizzard Pearl II had 5 miles when delivered on 7/29

Now (less than a moth later) I have about 900 miles and I was overseas for 10 days which I didnt use the car. It seems I cant stop driving that little beauty

I had 2 miles, just enough to get off the boat to the truck and to the dealer. I probably went the day after they arrived and no one else had driven it. By the time I tested and it got prepped it was up to 10. Now a month and a half later I think we are near 1500. I drove down to Balboa Park tonight after the dealer dinner just cause the sunset was so beautiful and I wanted to drive with the roof open!

My IV had 17 miles upon delivery.

 

I had 6 miles on my 2010 Prius. My salesman said he always puts his pre-sold cars in the back of the lot so they cannot be used for test drives. I think one should specifically ask the salesman to do this and not have the car used by others for test drives. Also, pick it up when it arrives, if possible.

 

I have bought two new Prius (priuses, Prii) an '05 and a '10. Both had 2 miles on them when they came off the truck. Then the mechanic/technician put about 3 more on them as part of the pre-delivery. I took a short test drive in both before I signed the paper work which added another 5 or 6 but I don't count that. On the '10 the paper work that went to the state for title and registration said the car had 5 miles when I purchased it.
