I drive my jeep around and I wave, other jeep drivers wave back. I ride my Harley around and I wave, other riders wave back. I wave from my prius and I see the other prius driver caught up in their own world. I try waving every time I pass a prius and its the same every time.
You know that's right, I've been thinking the same thing. I will get beside them and wave (as I go by) and they never see me, or so it seems. ha ha (I go on by them so as not to tie up lanes, but go figure.) Sad, but true. :car:
We used to wave back in 2004 and '05. After that time, my waves were more and more disregarded, ignored, unnoticed, or people thought I was nuts. I wave every once and a while these days but recently I've yet to have anyone wave back. Hybridfest doesn't count: everyone waves at Hybridfest.
i wish people around here waved.. they USED to... but thats before Everyone around here had one. i pay attention to prii around me and will see a wave or return a wave if it's seen.
Maybe the Prius-wave will start again in 2010 model? Waving to each other is only significant when driving a 'rare' vehicle on the road....Bet you never saw Camry drivers waving to each other?
In that case it is already too late. The days of the 2010 being 'rare' in my region ended two months ago.
