Hi everyone, Sorry if this has been posted before - if so please point me to the link. But the search engine isn't helping find this info... I'm looking at finding a dealer on the east coast, and I know that's broad, but I live in NYC, work weekly in CT (near Hartford) and my wife's family has a place on Cape Cod and they also live in Philly. So...we have some room to travel on the East Coast! I'd like to find a place to trade in my car (trade, or C4C) so it wouldn't be a straight purchase. Any recommendations?? I know very little about good Toyota dealers around NYC. Any and all suggestions welcomed. Oh, and I would be looking to get a 2010...hopefully! Thanks in advance! Kevin
I HIGHLY recommend Judi at Toyota of Greenwich (CT). She was incredibly professional, very responsive and worked very hard to try to find me a car to my specs in the timeframe that I needed. Unfortunately, she couldn't get me what I needed before I relocated, but I would buy a car from her in a heartbeat. ALSO- Toyota of Greenwich doesn't add on dealer fees, force you into unwanted options or charge any markup over MSRP.
I highly recommend Stephanie Hunsicker at Koons Easton, MD. She posts all of her Prius here on PriusChat and is a Prius owner herself so she knows the car. I notice that she just posted a Black IV with Roof on her 2010 third-generation Pruis available!! thread. I just bought a Red IV with roof from her and it was ready and waiting for me EXACTLY as described when I arrived. No surprises, no hidden fees, no high pressure. Can't say enough positive about Stephanie and the dealership.
We just got ours from Jim Barkley Toyota in North Carolina. Drove down from NYC. A great experience. No hassles at all. Allen was professional, courteous, and really great to work with. A painless experience. And Tim is great at explaining everything about the car to you. He sits in the car with you and walks you through every aspect. I highly recommend them.
Valenti Toyota in Westerly RI. A tad high in price but I know the price will come down a bit after all the C4C is over. If you ask for no BS fees, warranty, bs add ons etc. you won't get it just what you asked for. Just looked at the Greenwich dealers site and their prices are higher than Valenti's! Ouch
I wound up buying my car elsewhere because Jim Barkley could not get the model/features/color I wanted but they are a great dealership to work with.
