So some neighborhood punk kid busted my tail light. I'm 90% sure it was a kid on a bike because there is a nice chunk of black rubber sticking out of the hole in my tail light at just about the right height for a bicycle handlebar. So I called a few dealerships and the cheapest driver's side tail light I could find was $343. Anyone have any idea where I could find it cheaper? That price just seems ridiculous. (Of course my deductible is $500, lol.) Oh, and if anyone happens to find a kid riding a bicycle with a chunk of rubber missing from the handlebar, punch him in his head for me.
I'm a business man, and sometimes I give someone a very good deal at little or no profit due to extenuating circumstances. It sucks when the person I gave the deal to tells everyone what they paid, because then I feel obligated to honor that price for those who ask for it. Having said that, I don't feel like it would be right for me to say exactly what I paid, as I feel I got a very good deal due to extenuating circumstances. I will say, however, that every other dealership I contacted wanted about 30% more. I will definitely do all of my parts shopping at Sparks Toyota from now on.
