Attending Toyota New Owners Clinic

    I've seen people mention that they have attended a clinic from Toyota, but how do I find out about an upcoming event to attend? I live in Oregon and the only one I saw mentioned on the forums was in New York.

    3 years ago the selling dealer held monthly clinics to welcome that month's buyers. They served pizza, hoagies & soda in the Service Dept. I don 't know if they still do it.

    When I bought from Carlsbad in 2005 we had our event within the month. El Cajon will be having their event next Thursday that will be a little over one month. You get a $25 gift cert just for attending plus food. So I am using my copious vacation time and attending.

    It is a dealer sponsored thing. The dealers don't have to do it, but it is a nice touch to learn about your car. Call your dealer and ask if they do one.

    Longo Toyota in So. Cal. does do it on Thursday evenings. I haven't gone, but the salesman did say it was worth it.
