hhhmm for some reason my last post did not go through...

I think the polo would be an awesome idea. I only get to wear t-shirts around the house so not many would see it., I think a polo with Godiva's leafy prius and the priuschat.com underneath it would be simple and still look nice (not to mention few colors - green, yellow, blue, orange, and black).

Wow, you actually managed to type an entire sentence in capitals despite a pop-up warning you not to.

    :guns: ROOKIES

...And a starter button on a 3XL+ shirt would look like a belly button or third nipple.

    T-shirt

Just putting 2$ of opinion in for a small and low-key image. I'd like a t-shirt but it's gotta be very cool. Please someting very NOT nascar (or however you spell it) looking. How about a small image of the power distribution screen screen (if it hasn't already been suggested.)http://priuschat.com/forums/images/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Try to include larger sizes (4XL) too.

I would prefer a polo shirt instead of a t-shirt.

    MajorDude,
Who you callin' a rookie? ;-)

MRoland actually sparked a great idea, but I was going the other way. Perhaps it can be bright red, maybe with bold white lettering. I think MARLBORO should be diagonally across the front and maybe someone's scrawled signature across the back. And a number; there's gotta be a number. Oh oh, and maybe Calvin peeing on the GM logo. Classy!!

    I think this is funny: <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(galaxee\";p=\"93396)</div>
So.. my idea. i mayget around to making an example.. actually.. i won't, and i know it. I would love to have a polo. If platinum sponsors.. well.. billing has to go through again ( sorry danny ) ... so.. if platinum sponsors don't get polos, then i'll buy a polo.

Ash. Start button with future in the center on the front.

Priuschat under start button on front.

HSD logo with it's text on back.

a catchy phrase " cleaning up the future " or.. i like the idea of a peom or a really nice quote. Something classy. I want people to walk up to me or read my shirt as i walk by. ask me about it. logos won't do this. Quotes will. Peoms will.

catch them with the front, then they'll want to read the back.

Nothing on the back of a polo. Polos are classy, jokes on the back aren't. I like the bold colors, though.

How about the start button and then "Starting Conversations | PriusChat.com" somewhere thereabouts?

Chandler, we don't want to know about your third nipple.

How about a Dark Green Polo with a Start Button on the left side/chest, and PriusChat.com embroidered just above the bottom hem line/cuff on the right or left sleeve? Just a thought.

On the front a trimmed picture of the power button, on the back the text:
"I'ts a Car Jim, but not as you know it... - Leonard NiHMoy"

    ;-)

That's very funny (and true.) Might be fun to use as Senectus suggested! As for the Power-Nipple controversy, on a T-shirt, the power button could go in the center and and have a diameter of 3-4 inches. On a polo - placed on the back - smaller and above the shoulder blades maybe. My reservation about a polo is that I don't particularly want to look like I work for my Toyota dealership... Might it be possible to do both and give a choice?

    Turning over a new leaf.

I've had a little time to work on a leaf logo.

BTW this will be the logo for the revised Prius Club San Diego website so please don't go "borrowing" it and spreading it around.

But for the Priuschat shirt, I'll share if you want it.

I do not know about that last one. Makes the Prius look like an iguana.

yeah i like just the plain leaf one. Oh not to mention the latter one may be hard to do on a T-shirt and still look good.

Is this an example of the new Toyota color: *Chlorophyll Pearl* ? It's green during spring and summer and turns to shades of yellow and red in the fall.

(and you thought Tideland Pearl changed colors)

I like vanilla/natural color. Simple logos. Like a start button w/ "Start me up" in black on the pocket, and the priuschat.com logo on the front.
Of course being from Portland, Oregon, for the nonexistent Pacific Northwest Chapter, I would like a Mt St. Helen's volcano on the front with a slash through it and the words, "No Smoke". Currently stylish, he-he or should I say amp-ish. Or shall we preach "May the current be with you."

Ok, I have everything almost finished up with both the T-Shirts and the Polos. I'll upload the designs to show everyone once they are completed. I've tried to take a lot of the ideas from this thread and incorporate them into the designs. Hopefully everyone will like it!

Question on the polos - quality seems to change the price quite a bit with these, so how much is TOO much for a polo? I'm willing to go high end on them, but I don't want to get stuck with a bunch of expensive polos.

The polo will probably be pretty simple & classy - the embroidered PriusChat.com logo is what I'm currently thinking of.
