Im trying to figure out how to activate the security system that came with my 2010. It was installed (factory, dealer?) but since I didnt pay for it they put a little black cap on the connection on the dash to deactivate it? Does anyone know how to remove this and activate?

Re: installed security system You need a laptop and some Toyota software to activate the security system. The cap can easily come off but if one fools around with it, it can lock up the car so it won't move and it need to be towed to Toyota to get it to work again. One of my friends tried this and that is what came about. Steve
