Not up here in AK. Next door neighboor went to go buy a Prius this weekend and they said they won't have another one for at least 3 months. So he opted for Civic Hybrid instead. He also mentioned that all the lots he went to were quite bare of new vehicles period. Guess most dealers were not prepared for C4C. Peter
Not at the Koons in Tyson. They have no 2010 Prius's for at least three weeks according to one salesperson. A friend of mine was told there are in Maryland and in the deep south. Steve
There seem to be plenty in stock in Southeastern Mass. I purchased a III on Saturday and was even able to negotiate the price, in addition to a C4C trade! (Although one dealer tried to convince me that they're hard to come by, and other dealers were charging above MSRP to do a C4C trade... totally false.)
I normally carry 400-500 new toyotas on my lot at any given time. I currently have 44. That is a total of every model available. Traffic is not calming down...
Went by my Toyota Dealer and there were at least two Silver Prius's on the lot in front of the showroom. Service department didn't look too busy.
Yes, but were those really available? Here, pretty much all Prii are spoken for to well into September - perhaps October. Dealers are holding cars on their lots until all the government paper work goes through however. So the cars you see on the lot or in the showroom may not really be available. The small dealer I'm working with has 60 cars to process through C4C. I understand that it takes a while to get the info submitted and then they have to wait for government approval.
