Prius Version

    Is there any way to tell what model type II-V the prius is from the outside? I have seen no roman numeral to determine what types of 2010s are on the road out there

    The V has 17 inch wheels. Other than that, no visible exterior differences that I can tell.

    Well, if you see an open roof, you know its not a II or V.

    You can identify the model V by the headlight washer covers just below the headlamps. You can also identify the Advanced Technology Package by the round sonar "ears" on the forward sides just below the headlights.

    From Outside,
    US 2010 Prius III-IV w/ Solar Roof Option (None on V)
    V has 17" wheels , fog lights, special headlights w/washers.

    III (fabric interior), IV (leather), long lists of tech diff inside.
    II are coming.

    V has two smaller headlamps (in contrast to single larger headlamp in II-IV), in addition to 17" wheels and fogs.
