Anyone have suggestions for this? I just had the idea of a single rear floor mat, that stretches from door to door. I think that might look good in the Gen. III Prius... but I'd have no idea where to find one... much less also one that matched the color close enough.
The PriusChat Shop has "Exact Mats" and one of the configurations is a rear-uni (and they're clear so color is no problem I don't have my Prius yet so I haven't tried them out, but that shop seems to have a very good reputation here. From previous experience with them, they're a giant pain in the butt to remove to vacuum the vehicle. I prefer the separate mats.
Thanks for the link, angelrob. I've had exact mats in a couple cars before, and I really liked them, but they were over the factory floor mats. I'm hoping to find a rear unimat mat that is carpeted. jay_man2, I figured that is would be a little more cumbersome to deal with, but I keep my car so ridiculously clean that it shouldn't be much of a problem for me.
weathertech is supposed to make a floor liner that covers the entire floorwells of the front and back... about $170 is my guess for the set...
I bought some cheap ones for now but I already know I will probably replace them with something from PC Shop. I can see where te uni mat would be hard to get out but I am determined to keep this car cleaner. I just got my heat shield from PC Shop and I had no problems with them, efficient service and good communication.
Gosh, how big were they - just kidding, sort of First thing I thought of when I saw my new AW matts installed was . I have a CRV OEM AW matts with one cont. in back and its a snap. Of course, it fits 3 real people in the back and I don't expect to ever have more than 2 in the P. But their feet will make it to the middle no doubt.
