Braking: When coming to a stop, it feels like I could keep pushing the brake pedal all the way to the floor. I also hear something that sounds like a bunch of air getting released just a few seconds before coming to a full stop. Every time I brake, I can hear this whoosh noise. Normal? A/C: I was in a parking lot with the A/C on for about 15 minutes and when I looked at the front right side of the car, I had created a puddle. This water is coming from the A/C, but how much is normal? I could see the liquid dripping from the underside of the car. Am I just paranoid, heh?!
You can push the pedal quite a bit, but by then you're completely stopped an have activated the hill start assist feature. The sounds you hear are related to the regenerative braking. Around here it's been so humid lately that puddles from the a/c drain hose are common with any car that's running the a/c.
As long as you don't see people putting on life vest when they get near your car, it's fine This liquid is just water, condensing on the cold parts of your A/C and then dripping off it. The warmer it is outside, but more imporatant; the higher the humidity is, the more water will be produced. If your car is parked for a while with the A/C on in hot and humid conditions it is quite common to see a small stream of water from under the car (if the ground isn't 100% level).
