Apparently whoever runs this blog does not allow freedom of speech.
I posted several posts regarding delays with our 2010 Prius v ATP and they were ALL Deleted.

I shall find another way to voice our frustration with stories from Toyota.

    Peace

It looks as though you've posted your complaints in two different threads about the Prius V w/ ATP. Did you have other complaints you posted that have been deleted? I've seen posts edited for inappropriate comments, but saying Toyota's customer service sucks just isn't going to get a post deleted. Saying you hate the car or think the Prius is over-rated also won't get posts deleted.

Still, if you have additional posts you've made that aren't showing up, then give some indication of when they were posted, which forum and thread (if you can recall), and describe the content of the post. If those threads were deleted by one of the moderators, that moderator should be willing to discuss it with you via PMs.

This sounds more like he posted in threads with similar subjects and got confused. :)

Whether it is that or he actually had posts deleted (or somehow they never were posted!), I'd like to see this resolved, because it doesn't show PriusChat in a very good light if people think posts are being deleted just because the poster is upset with Toyota!

i think what this person is doing is hijacking threads for the purpose of complaining. the person should start a thread just dealing with this person's situation

I've been an admin and moderator on several car forums and I think the team here in Prius Chat is top notch! I'd be very surprised if that was the case where his posts were deleted. I too saw his 7 posts and 3 of them were in a thread with a very similar title, regardless they are still there.

    1) This is a community forum not a blog.

    2) We don't delete posts when we want them to go away; we hide them from public view. This way, we keep them if we ever wish to reinstate them or if someone ever denies having made the post in the first place. If your posts were hidden from view, I'd know it. Additionally, the number of posts listed on your post count would not match the number of posts found by the other members.

    3) Here are your seven posts sorted oldest to most recent:

    We posted a legitimate opinion.
its been over 4 months now since we've ordered our 2010 atp. we put $ down and were prommised by the dealer that he will get us a car withing 90 to 120 days?
every so often we checked in and were advised A. Toyota decided due to the oversupply of the 2009 model to slow down production of the 2010 B. ATP models had problems c. East coast will not get more than 10 atp's before october , and on and on and on.

The dealer called the toyota main inventory control to no avail.
We felt that the customer service was just horrible and therefore the post.
I btw never use explatives :mod:

Have you tried to get your deposit back? Sounds like you may need to try another dealer if you still want a Prius. You might also try contacting Toyota either by email or phone. I have no idea what the waiting list for Prius V ATPs is in your region, around here it seems to be about 2 months. At least I hope so I have been waiting for 36 days now (but who's counting). :)

You may get more responses if, as others have suggested, you start you own thread. Must be some members from your location that might have some information. BTW I don't think any of your posts were deleted, I said plenty of bad things about Toyota when I was having problems with my gen2. All those posts are probably still around here somewhere. Maybe you just looked in the wrong places for your posts?

Thank you for the follow up.
After contacting the Toyota HQ they directed us to Southeast Toyota Distributors, (SET) which is an independent company and responsible for the allocation and distribution of Toyota cars since 1968 and is the world’s largest franchised distributor of [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyota"]Toyota[/ame] vehicles. The 172 dealers in the five states of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina & South Carolina account for 20% of Toyota sales in the United.
Lots of back and forth communication , all we wanted was to find out the probability of receiving the ATP. We never got a straight answer other than “why wont you buy a 2009 at half price” routine.
Our frustration is with the total lack of customer service. What drive their existence here in our market (our country) is the quality, nothing else. Unfortunately, there are not too many choices otherwise I would get something else. I hope and pray that our car manufacturers will one day build a decent “green car” and until then I am afraid we will have to deal with the Toyota arrogance.

There have been numerous other complaints on this site about the Southeast Toyota region. I'm glad I'm not trying to buy a car there. I hope you can somehow get a Prius equipped like you want, any chance you could just get your deposit back and travel outside that region? I know that's a pita but maybe you could make a vacation trip out of it too, I think some others have done so.

I don't think its any better elsewhere on the east coast, I ordered a package V W/O ATP on 17 Jul, My sales guy lets call him Brian for this post OK thats his real name:). had not contacted me after a few weeks, so I called him. I asked him how things were going and if he had any more information on my car. He said that he would have a VIN number by Aug 15 and that we should see the car by the end of Aug. I was told by him that they get cars three times a month! I started looking for the car in May, they are getting twenty odd cars a month, all but maybe nine are pre sold. Thats what I have seen after looking for three months. I have been down to look and test drive six times driving three time and watching people buy the car that I was test driving twice, this has happened to me at two dealers York Toyota and Lancaster Toyota. So good luck:eek: after my $500 deposit I will wait almost two months. I have been with Honda for 15 years until I saw the 2010 Prius! I new it was the car for me. I am trading in a 2006 Odyssey Touring that I love but the tires are bad ofter 28,000 miles. So I wait, good luck to all and I feel your Pain!
