    Hmm. I've seen quite a few university faculty in this thread so far. That's interesting because I can't get my better half interested in the Prius no matter how hard I try!

    I am a Registered Nurse currently working on a high risk psych unit. We get the folks who are dancing naked in the mall parking lots, throwing feces at passing cars and the such. I love my job cause it is never boring!

    I'm retired from two careers.

    I taught lower elementary, mostly K/1, for the Vallejo City Unified school district for twelve years. Then, it was time for something completely different. So after going back to school I worked as an electronics instrument tech, at the Chevron refinery in Richmond, for 17 years.

    IT Business Relationship Manager married to retired IBM Large Account Manager. We used "Cash for Clunkers" to purchase our 2nd Prius. He is driving our 2002 gen 1 and I am driving new 2010 gen 3 III.

    This is gold for Toyota actually - and free. Most common theme among early adopters here, regardless of retired or still working, seems to me to be a strong focus on information access and management whether medical, legal, military, educational, digital or for the entertainment industry.
