We hope to pick up our 2010 Model II in Blizzard Pearl on Monday morning if "Cash for Clunkers" goes live. Crushing a 2001 Ford Escape 2WD V6 with a cracked manifold, cracked windshield and who knows what else about to fail. I reckon it will take one more run to the graveyard, fingers crossed...and speaking of that... Our dealer offers free manicures on Mondays! Really. So while I'm signing paperwork my lovely wife can, should she so wish, de-stress with a manicure. Anyone else encountered this? They also throw in: Oil changes for life Tires for life First free ding repair ...and some other small perks And no sales tax on a Prius here in Connecticut.

Our dealer does manicures on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In 25 years of marriage my wife has never volunteered to take a car in for service. She has taken the Prius 3 times since we got it in June! She gets free coffee, watches TV on the big screen TV and gets her nails done.

My TCH had free tires for life. It cost them two sets before I traded. My Prius has free engines for life.
I'm forwarding this info to all the local dealerships. It makes so much sense! Doh! Why didn't I think of it as a side biz - go in and manage these services for the dealers. There's no way these ding dongs will think of it themselves!
LOL! So get with the program. Some dealer hopefully nearby you in West Virginia should be offering you and yours (especially yours I reckon) some if not all of these perks. I've never had a manicure by the way. But I like the free oil, tires and batteries, ding repair and other small stuff. I'll be sure to ask about engine for life on Monday!
