Thought I'd get a fresh one from this passing generation and wait for the plug in in a few more years. Only had 55,000 on the '05 but the new one has the leather seats and all the bells and whistles. I suspect the next few years will see some 'fru fru' options added but I really want a plug in. I love the dark gray interior as well. That beige drove me mad trying to keep it nice and clean.....even with the foul weather mats.
    Peace,
    Paul

Neat. I got the '09 too. I considered the '10, but I don't feel comfortable getting the first rev of a new gen. There's always bound to be bugs (I work in software). That said, since the '09 is the last rev of its gen, it should theoretically be the most refined bug free feature complete version.

Hearing this, I'm glad I did get the dark gray interior instead of the beige. The 09's are great. I love mine

Bought my '09 (our first Prius) in May. Loving it so far and hope it will be bug free. Since this version has been around a few years, the bugs are hopefully all out. That being said, Toyota does a pretty good job of development and testing, so the '10 owners should all have a pretty darn nice car too.

We have the beige interior. We like the looks but I know it will take some care to keep it looking nice. Good to hear the fabric holds up well.

Thrilled to be a Prius owner and extend thanks to all of you who contribute to these posts. The information has been extremely helpful.

You must not have kids! At least not young ones. I'm a bit shocked at how dirty the beige fabric shows dirt (foot prints) so easily. Last car had leather which though I hate how it cracks when old, is definitely easier to keep clean on a day to day basis.
