EV mode not available

    Trying to figure out why some days when I pull into my subdivision after driving home from work I cant engage EV mode. My battery is full and I am under 25mph, but the screen says not available. Then other days it works just fine.

    Same problem and no explanation, but if I then stop and re-engage it operates normally.

    I guess I will call the dealer tomorrow and see what they have to say.

    Any chance you are accelerating when you make the EV selection? It has worked for me pretty reliably, but I only press it when under no or low acceleration.

    Battery needs to be near full. 1/2 or less and it's not likely to engage. I don't bother with it. If the coolant temp is warm, you can keep it in ev up to 45 with your foot and the limit with the button is 25.
