Thanks Tom. I am still trying to figure out if there is a part number that I could get so that I can ensure I order the proper center caps to fit the Gen III 15-inch alloys.

I believe the part number posted above is wrong, and that the correct part number is actually 42603-52030

When I enter that number on parts.com for a 2004 Prius*, I get the center caps for the Gen II Prius:

    http://www.parts.com/oemcatalog/ind...5175&callout=7&catalogid=2&displayCatalogid=0

If I were you, I'd just order them from parts.com . I doubt that your dealer will beat that price of $10.48 plus shipping. Alternatively, just ask your dealer to match that price or to get them for you for free.

    * The Toyota parts database that everyone uses is stupid. Although the center cap obviously came with the 2004 - 2009 Prius, it's listed only for the 2004 - 2006 Prius in the Toyota parts database. Similar nonsense like this is frequently found in the Toyota parts database.

Here's what I got from parts.com. Thanks again BOO.

However, after seeing the wheels with the covers, I decided they don't look that bad in person.

I am pretty sure they will fit, but please post once you know for sure they fit on the 2010 15" rims.

My dad is insistent that he will take off his wheel covers once the car comes and I want to make sure these will fit from parts.com before ordering them for him... Thanks in advance!

Just a tip about parts.com: don't bother paying for 2-day shipping, thinking you'll actually get the parts in 2 days (or even close). In my case, it took over a week before they actually shipped the parts, then the 2-day shipping kicked in. So, it turned out to be a week and 3 days. I realize that the 2 days refers to the shipping service they purchase, but over a week to get them to FedEx seems a bit excessive.

Same. They shipped the order a week after I placed the order. Order shipped via Fedex with request for indirect signature. So if you're at work and can't sign you'll have to wait an extra day by leaving the signed slip at your door step.

They will fit, as confirmed by several people in the other 15" wheel center cap thread and other threads:

I got mine today from my local dealer and installed just fine. Both the wife and i like the look much better with the covers off and caps installed.

I spoke to a toyota part service, and the guy said part number of wheel center cap for 2010 Prius is 42603-52110.

Another part number thru online searching is 42603-AB020.

So beside the part# 42603-52030 from previous post, anyone know are the 2 part #s mention above work with 2010 Prius or not.

I bought mine on eBay for $16 for four but you have to be careful to get the right ones. Ours are rounded as you see in the picture. The other center cap is flat.

They look really nice on the car.

Here is a picture of mine. I really like the look. I paid a lot more than $16 from parts.com.

The more I see these naked wheels without the plastic trim, the more I like them!

Through the parts department, they retail for around 24 each. Cost is about 12 each.

And the only thing I don't like about them is the fact that they are a plastic chrome, and the wheel is alloy with a matte finish. No big deal to most though.

My dealer quoted $21.31 each for the center wheel caps for a 2010 Prius (part number 42603-52110). But a mechanic warned that the wheel covers help improve gas mileage. The service advisor joked that the benefit is probably measured in feet per gallon.

I'm thinking the full wheel covers are probably intended as curb defenses, not for aerodynamic mileage improvement. The bare alloy wheels look great in my opinion. Next I want to add a racing stripe!

    Karl,

I picked them up from my dealer for $11.40 a piece. Don't worry about the negative effect on MPG...I'm still averaging around 53/54 or so...just do it! They look much better than the stock plastic covers. This is the best we can do since the 17's off the V are sweet but a pipe dream for me anyway.

Here they are on mine (Blizzard):

Looks good. Did you order part number 42603-52030 from Toyota? I have those on order but they are still a few weeks away. Hoping I ordered the right number!
