    My Prius will always be better than....

    Anything. The headline statistic of the modern car industry is mpg. Prius has the highest on the market. Ergo, Prius owns everything.

    Better than walking when work is 37 kilometres away and you're a shift worker.
    Better than a motorbike when it's cold and raining. Also gets better fuel consumption than my 650 did.

    Even at 115, I'm still getting FAR better mileage than that Hummer ;)

    For a family of 5, my Prius is better than anything else out that's available TODAY. Once the Tesla S comes out w/ extended range batteries, the argument may shift.

    Same goes for a US Estima equivalent. My wife will drop the 2004 in a heartbeat for something a bit more multi-kid friendly.

    I saw a news article about a person who made their Hummer all electric and it can go forever (almost) because there is so much room for batteries. Makes you think...
