Feeling like an idiot here, but what the heck… I have request in for a 2010 PriusIII+ Nav. After looking at pictures on this site, it dawned on me that I don’t know where the CD player is when the NAV panel is installed. The base II & III without the Nav/camera system have the CD player mounted in the middle consul. Where is it once the screen is mounted in that same space?!? How do you load disks? Argh! My last car (RIP, baby) had both a CD player & tape deck , and despite my husband’s forcing an IPOD on me, I have not become an MP3 gal. All this technology is going to be the end of me... At the very least it's gonna take some getting used to!
Because that video starts with the non-Nav version, let me note that the with-Nav loading begins at about 1:00. It's really easy; push the Load/Close button on the left side and the screen flips out.
Should the CD player show the CD title and tracks on screen when playing? It just shows "CD 1"; then "track 1-2-etc". that doens't seem right.
The Cd player is a 4 disc changer located behind the nav screen. There is a button on the nav console that should say open/close. Press that and on the touch screen there should be a display that says load. The screen will tilt forward allowing you to load the cd changer
It depends on the CD and the Data encoded. I have some that show the entire song title and other's that just show track. If someone is able to burn you a CD that has titles you should also see them.
