Blue Ribbon vs. Spectra Blue

I, too, like the brighter (less conservative?) blue color that I have seen on other Prius models. I was shown a Blue Ribbon Metallic Camry when I asked the dealer what the 2010 Prius blue would look like, but he admitted to not having seen the BRM Prius himself. The Camry was a very dark blue color (though not quite navy) with a metallic fleck of bright blue that sparkled magnificently in the light. In contrast, there was a 2010 Corolla on the lot in "Blue Streak Metallic" which is closer to (maybe exactly) the Prius color I have seen in prior years than was the Camry color. BRM is a really nice color on the Camry, but too dark for my liking since my Prius will NOT be garaged. Presuming the Blue Ribbon Metallic on the Camry & Prius will be the same shade of blue, I went with the Barcelona Red.



I was actually hunting this forum to see if anybody made a comparison between the two Prius blues because I do love the Prius in that bright Spectra Blue! (The '10 Insight comes in a bright blue called "Clear Sky BlueMetalic" that I really like, but the car itself is too small for our needs!)
