I love my new BLACK Lexie. However, I wish I was given some good info/advice on remove the water spots. Will the Toyo Guard that came with it do the job? I looked on line at info regarding the care of Black cars and read Mother's cleaning wax did a good job.
    Any ideas?

OK, depending on how paranoid you are, if someone steals your car they can find your home if you do this...so it might be a good idea to program in a place that is near your home but not actually your home.

I forget all the choices but I went to a nearby shopping center and just pushed a button and it record the lat/long of where I was, not an actual address.

    - how to turn off the back-up beep
    - that CD slot was behind navigation panel
    - that I'd need to drill in the back to attach a cargo net

Overall, had a very positive experience with Novato Toyota in CA

Nope, the bladder is still used on the 2010. I believe Toyota is using this design to help minimize gasoline vapor emissions. So I don't think they will change back to a hard tank.

Bladder has been removed and is not on 2010. This has been discussed on numerous threads in PC. Toyota has redesign the system to comply with emission standards.

I wish the dealer told me how to disable the beeps when in reverse. There must be a way to disable this annoying feature.

Hey rjv...I grew up in Ventura from 1952-1970....we disabled the reverse beep and when door unlocks changed it to unlocking all doors...and no beeping with drivers seat belt undone....search the forums here simple to do takes a few minutes and two hands with your fob.

To change the reverse beep in the 2010 you have to go to the dealership to have it reset (from constant to 1 beep). You could do it yourself in the G2's.

I wish the dealer had told me about the smart key system being dangerous for heart patients who have pacemakers or defibulaters. Does anyone have any info on this?

At the dealership I worked at a long time ago I saw a salesman sell an aftermarket 100k powertrain aftermarket warranty to a customer on a car with a factory 100k powertrain warranty...

It depends where your defibulator was manufactured. I would suggest contacting your doctor to ensure where it was manufactured and check to be sure.
Also check this link to see if may shed some light.
    Hope that helps...

I don't know that you have any serious issue from reading the article but double check to be sure.

You can turn off the smart key receivers in the car using the pushbutton under the steering wheel. Note that there's a receiver in the center console so staing 9-12 inches away from the recievers isn't practical..

The fob will work fine if you stick it in the dash slot.

How to reset the trip meter. I've been looking at the manual for quite a while on how to do this, even searching PriusChat, but somehow I can't find it :(

Hi. Reversing beeper is a dealer option to change to one beep rather than continuous. Seems i was first person at my dealer to ask for this in all the years they have been selling Prius here in the UK. First answer was "too difficult". Once this site was shown to them it was all okay. Thanks again.

While the selected Trip is displayed, HOLD down the DISP Button for a few seconds and it will reset the one you have active. You can reset either A or B, but have to have it displayed or active at the time....should work like a charm for you. Use the Steering wheel control.
