With regards to someone who mentioned this: "The weight of the bikes seemed to pull the upper legs off the glass while driving. Might try readjusting to stop this bouncing. I have mine adjusted to a perfect arc shape, maybe a slightly more V shape would lend better support." BEWARE: I've used the Saris Bones 3 for a few trips and have noticed the same thing, I dont have super light aluminum bikes and last weekend put 3 mountain bikes on the rack including 2 cheapo bikes which are heavier....after a 2 hour trip the rear bumper was dented in where the saris bones rests. Fortunately after a few days it has straightened out by itself, however i will no longer be using this rack and have one for sale.
Just got a Saris Bones 2 and I can't figure out where to put the side straps. Can anyone tell me where they go, or have photos? Thanks.
