For those that don't know, in Southern CA the heart of Priusville is Santa Monica. They are everywhere. You can't drive a minute and not see one. Toyota of Santa Monica had a waiting list forever when gas was up. I was curious to see how sales would go on the Gen III. I checked two weeks ago and they had 22, today 36! And the price has dropped quite a bit. For those of us waiting for a good deal becuase we're cashless perhaps there's hope!
Be sure to talk to Carlye Mooney I believe is her last name. She is wonderful to work with. Unfortunately I was pretty specific with my order and they were not able to get my car at the time before I found it elsewhere. She won't treat you wrong. Just be sure to tell her I sent you to her. It's the least I can do being she wasn't able to sell me my car.
Wow, 36!!! Although their stated prices don't add up to any MSRP that I can figure and of course they are (deliberately) vague about how it's equipped. It would be refreshing if all dealers would provide exact equipment/options online, but I am sure they want you to have to call or come in.
