So, my Toyota dealership installed the new plastic cover that sits in the dash and reflects the MPG, gas, etc (the original was scratched). I noticed after I picked up the car today that I can't see the top part of the display because it visually looks like its displayed a couple cm higher than before. The result is the E and F for the fuel reading and the top part of the speed are cropped unless I lean back in my seat or bend my neck to see it.

Is this positioning of the display something I can change, or must I take it back again? I also noticed that there seems to be a straight line fissure between the left and right plastic pieces, and I don't remember that - anybody else see that partition?

Yes, noticed the seam in the display on our new 05. At first I thought it was cracked, but on closer examination it is a seam. Not very happy about it, but try I not to focus on it!

I haven't noticed any problem reading the display though (are you particularly tall?). If you had no problem before they installed the cover maybe they can fix it?
