It looks like registration is now open. My old link to hybridfest is now redirected to: Home UPDATED: April 10 Registration is NOW open for Hybridfest 2009 See you this July in Madison?
Well, I didn't register yet, but when I went to the website, there was a place to click to register and they are telling you to call the Clarion for motel reservations.
I dont see that anywhere on the site. Plus I thought they was going with the cheap hotel now instead of the Clarion.
I only see info on where to stay for the 2008 Hybridfest. It says Clarion Suites, but that was 2007, wasn't it? Last year was Days Inn. Hopefully Eric will clarify this - are you out there? I'm registered and will be bringing my new 2009 Barcelona Red this year. FireEngineer, I need to book a block-heater install appointment with you - hope you will be there.
I called and made reservations at the Clarion. They were aware of Hybridfest and the discount. I'm guessing Eric just made a typo on the website.
Hi Judy and others, I guess that I will miss this year's Hybridfest. My cataracts are not getting any better and surgery isn't scheduled till later in the year. I will look froward to seeing you-all in 2010. Have fun in Madison.
For those of you who have already made reservations at the Clarion; are they asking for full payment at the time of reserve or only a deposit? Only reason I ask is I'm planning on making reservations later this week and don't want to sound like a complete tool. TIA!
It will be nice to see many of you again. Like last year, several of us will be camping in Madison (Lake Farm campgrounds) instead of staying at the hotel. Last year was too much fun and we're looking forward to a repeat. Cheers; MSantos
Re: Green Drive Expo 2009 Try this: Where To Stay We tried a different hotel last year, but we had a great deal of feedback that people preferred the convenience of staying on-site at the Clarion. Plus, the Clarion has a great breakfast and happy hour, swimming pool, hot tub, and free internet for registered hotel guests -- which all make for more time to hang out together! (Unfortunately, we cannot extend those amenities to HF Green Drive Expo members who are not staying at the hotel.) To register for Hybridfest Green Drive Expo itself, go here: Home and click "Become a member" on the left-hand navigation list. Hope this helps -- sorry for the confusion. :cheer2: LESS THAN 13 WEEKS -- very exciting! :cheer2: ~Linda
I'm looking forward to it already, and it will be great to meet some new people and see some of the faces from last year. If anyone likes camping, don't hesitate to come join us at Lake Farm campground. It was lots of fun last year.
Wayne, Give me a call or drop me a PM some time. We chat more about good news for engine block heater installs for Hybridfest Green Drive Expo 2009. First, we have a new, closer location for the park for Friday. Even better is the fact that it is not owned by the city, so we pretty much have free reign as to what we can do. EBH installs are no problem at all!
Hi!! I made my reservations back in April. Now that it's July 1, I'm getting excited. It will be so great to see all of you again. (waves to Judy, Neicy, FireEngineer, Linda and Eric!) Sorry to hear that Okie won't make it. I hope the campers have good weather and not so many bugs. I have to get my Prius all clean and shiney for the "Prius Parade". I got his oil changed yesterday so he'll be ready for the long drive. Donna Prius Prime
