Is that spray paint?

Also, is it easy to fix it if the paint chips or scratches?

I'm getting a Red IV, so I'm thinking of painting them red!

Thanks. Fourth black car. We are in Gaithersburg, MD. Purchased the car from 355 Toyota on June 20, 2009.

 

Yes, it's spray paint that is made especially for bonding to plastic surfaces. It's only been 5 days since I did it, and no chips of scratches yet, but not sure how it will hold up. Besides, if it does get scratched or chipped, I'll just spray it again!

I thought exactly the opposite, amazed at how different they look when next to each other like that.

Window shape is pretty much the only similarity. Both head & tail lights are a dead giveaway to the hybrid's identity.

Here are pics of my new baby! Red II , dark gray interior, with port installed bluetooth. Funny story - I had ordered a III, and had it negotiated. When I showed up to pick it up, this is what they had... I was a bit miffed, but the only difference is the 6-CD change, the extra speakers, and the XM radio. I didn't really care about any of those things. I got them to knock off a little more from the price, and I drove away happy. Here's to getting your car on the last day of the month!!! Lots of power to the buyer.

I have been very pleased with the quality of the bluetooth. People say it is a little difficult to hear me, but I'll see if I can adjust that. I hear people very loudly and clearly. I don't mind the location of the buttons at all.

Also, I specifically took a pic of the instructions card that was hanging off of the wiper control when I got the car. It's perfect for valets or anything! I'll be keeping it handy when I have to entrust my car to anyone else.

Thanks to everyone on PC for helping this newbie figure out what is what!

Congrats! I haven't seen that color combo before. I think all I have seen pictures of are the Red with Bisque interior. Thanks for posting!

 

Yeah, my original pick was Red with Bisque, but I actually like this better. It is easier to keep looking clean, and the contrast is really nice. I'm very happy!

is that an 83 lebaron in photo #1? Gunmetal blue, white top, turbo, mark cross ltd edition? i bought that car in 1983 and loved it!
