Just wanted to say hi to everyone from an owner-to-be! I ordered my Barcelona Red #4 '06 Prius on January 11th. I can't wait to start driving it. I must be hooked already as I've already started to collect gear. I visited the Cleveland Car Show on Sunday (very nice) and received a very warm welcome in the Toyota booth. They have a white Prius on the floor as well as on a turn table. One of the main demo's is on the Prius. At the end of the Prius talk, the demo guy was giving out Hybrid Synergy Drive hats and I happened to mention that I just ordered one and he ran to the trunk of the Pruis and pulled out a hat for me. I spent quite a bit of extra time in the back seat of the car listening to people's opinions. Many thought the dash was "crazy" looking and some weren't crazy about he black plastic on the radio. Far and away most comments were how much people liked it. So many people looked at the mileage and had to yell it out to anyone standing around. I sat on the passenger side next to an older gentleman who simply loved the interior and the entire idea. Naturally I did a little sale job on him as well. Hope he didn't get in the wait line ahead of me! Anyway, thought you all might like to see the SWAG they are giving away. The back says "Toyota" and Hybrid Synergy Drive as well. Welcome! Sounds like you had a great time at the show. Just wait until you get to sit everyday in your car. Gotta tell ya, though, I think the hat will look better sitting in the back window of the car rather than on someones head! :lol:
Modern, Haven't seen another like it but wonder if they don't sell them somewhere. Perhaps I should go back and collect more! LOL!
hi I alwas wonder what the b on the gear shift was for. today i learned the the prius has an engin brake that will slow down the car when going down steep hills with out the brakes
