What are the minimum activation speeds for adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and lane departure warning systems? I created a thread about this in January, but it was speculation then and now it should be fact.
For the cruise control it is 25mph. The CC will cancel if the speed falls below 25. The lane departure system will work while cruising with set vehicle speed of approximately 45mph and the Lane keep assist when speed is approximately 50mph.
While it is true the cruise control may be initiated at speeds as low as 25mph (manual, page 216), the dynamic radar cruise control (adaptive cruise control or ACC) cannot be set until the vehicle speed exceeds 30mph (see manual, page 224). And, YES, it all works very well. I'm particularly impressed with the ACC. 1800
So if you set it at 30 and the car in front of you drops to 25, will ACC stay on? How low will it go? How does it warn you when it deactivates. I see my self speeding a little bit more on certain streets on my way home so I can activate those features (LKAS, LDW, ACC)
