After reading the Blizzard Peal love fest thread, I decided to start one with my second color choice Barcelona Red. Originally, I was to receive a Pkg V Blizzard Pearl but the dealer made a mistake. The dealer called and offered one in red and ate the cost of the remote start and rear bumper applique, so I said yes to red. Suffering Blizzard Pearl withdraw, I call out to all the Barcelona Red owners... Show me some Love... PS. Some of the best pictures for red are here: AutoblogGreen Silver and Red Here: AutoblogGreen
No doubt the absolute best color! As I said in the other thread Blizzard is a classy color but nothing beats the head turn factor of Barcelona Red. Good choice!! G
I'm with you! My red baby should be in the end of this week. At least I hope so. I'm all about it. It's an absolutely great shade...not too maroon, not too pink. Congrats to you! I'm very jealous.
We're in a small club here... only about 5% or so chose Red. That's AOK with me. To each their own, and that's what makes the world spin. I think the Prius looks great in every color. Same car under the skin. Congrats!
I actually was torn between the blue and the red. But I can't wait for RED!! They only made like 15 of 500 in my region as #3 with solar. And only 2 of those were red. So...I had to go with the more popular produced blue. I'm still super excited but I know I could have rocked that spicy color!
I agree with my fellow "Red Men". I thought that I wanted a Driftwood Pearl or Spectra Blue Mica, until I saw a Barcelona Red sitting next them. Nothing like a red car to help you through a mid-life crisis. "Once you go Red .... enough said!"
I agree... I test drove the white, and was quite dissapointed with it. I really wanted that nice pearl color Toyota sells in other cars, but that's not a choice. So Barcelona Red it is. Looking forward to it!
Amen...for the Barcelona Red...absolutely marvelous color. Mine is due tomorrow at the dealer Can't wait to sign autographs after picking it up
That is one damn fine photo!!! As a Gen II owner, there was not even a choice. Barcelona Red Baby!!! It Rocks!!! As far as percentages go, nature truly intended there to be less really smart folk, so the color percentage thing actually works out!!!
My first two cars were red. From personal experience I can testify that red really does attract a lot of attention - especially from the police. When I started driving cars painted with neutral colors that blended in with traffic, I got far fewer tickets. Keith
Since Feb I agonized over what color to go with. At the last minute I chose the Barcelona Red. I have owned my 2010 for over two weeks now and have no doubts I made the right decision.
Oooooh! Nice deal. If I'd been offered such a deal, I'd jumped on it in a heartbeat. I love my Winter Gray, but the red is definitely a head turner. Congratulations!!!
I saw a 2009 on the showroom floor in Barcelona Red and it took my breath away. My 2010 package III with Navigation is at the dealer being prepped for delivery to me tomorrow at 4:30 pm sharp! The wife chose Bisque for the interior. One of the reasons I put this combination together is because I thought it would be as attractive to the next owner as it will be to me. This will be our second Toyota ever. We were very happy with our 1989 Toyota Camry and drove it for years. The rear of the car looked much like the rear of the Mercedes SL. It was underpowered but a very nice ride. I will file a report with the forum if you can get me out of the car long enough to write something. Just remember that red commands more money at auctions and if the top goes down the price goes up. I love to drive but I love to fly even more! Dan
