Coming out of Bar Harbor, yesterday around 5:30 p.m. Just a glance, but have to say that in 3 dimensions it was cooler than all of the (some very fine) photos on this site. A blue one, undetermined model & home state - don't think it had a front plate, though, which lets out Maine. Our (central ME) dealer tells us no Vs or IVs w/roofs or nav on the horizon so we're awaiting a white base IV due sometime in next 30 days. Fingers crossed.
Yippee!! I haven't seen one around here although there must be some somewhere! And all the way up in Bah Hahbah? - Excellent!
I saw my first one in San Francisco on Sunday and agree with you that in person it looks better than the pics.
I haven't seen one in the wild yet here in the Pine Tree State, but I am also keeping my eyes peeled! I went to Emerson Toyota in Auburn and checked out their Prius II on display (on Sunday in the rain - nice to have some alone time to check it out). I am hoping for a IV with sunroof, but I don't know if it's in the financial cards anytime real soon :-/.
I was beginning to think I was going to get my car which should be here any day before I saw one in the wild. Wouldn't you know it, I saw my first Monday morning which was a Blizzard Pearl going the opposite way on the freeway and then saw a Barcelona Red V yesterday afternoon going the opposite way on the freeway. Thought it was weird that being in and around the LA area that it took this long to see any but at least I know they are out there aside from the one I test drove what seems forever ago now. My car just doesn't seem to want to leave the port. I talked to my gal yesterday and she said it's still there and hasn't been slated to get accessories installed yet. Dying over here..... I want my new car. It's torture I tell you.
Ah - I did the test drive last Sunday too and the dealership was pretty quite. The car surprised me - pleasently - and I'm impatiently waiting for my IV with SR. But here's the thing - I think Toyota miss-calculated the SR badly. They are producing relatively few of them and it looks likd the vast majority are sitting on lots in Califorina and Arizona. While the solar ventilation is a cool gizmo and not really a necessity here in the NE, I love a sunroof and I've really held off on a Prius for years waiting for them to have some of the (now) basic nicities like a sunroof and bum warmers. I'm afraid you and I will be waiting awhile for a IV with SR. BTW :welcome: to PC!
