Yazaki and Aisin Seiki were two of the MANY vendors at Tokyo Motor Show when I last went. Most of these vendors have their wares cut open and on display at the show. I remember at least one manufacturer (might have been Yazaki) had a large display of gauge clusters for a at least a dozen different vehicles. Particularly fascinating to me are the more complex parts like transmissions. Maybe also reserve space for an auto plant tour.
