Last summer, I was thinking about doing a photo essay - it was going to be photos of Hummers, Tahoes and Expeditions for sale with gas price signs interspersed. I haven't seen as many big vehicles for sale yet this year. Its like a frog in a heated pot - they haven't caught on yet.

Heard on the radio this morning that AZ has the lowest gas prices in the nation. San Francisco had the highest.
$3.67 for premium at Irvine CA costco yesterday ... but only $2.59 for regular in Kalispell MT. If only I could bring down a bigger paycheck up there (sigh).
it's kinda leveled off at 2.99-3.00 in the socal area. once it goes above 3 bucks for regular, i expect easy increases to 3.50. waddaallthink???????
up only 2 cents in 6 days. starting to slow down; an emerging trend maybe?. with 3 cars driven on a regular basis, we dont fill up that fast anymore a telling stat. on the SPM. filled up may 12th, cost was $2.29....on june 4th it was $2.65...today its the 18th, gas "only" $2.79 so has only gone up 14 cents.
IIRC, the gas prices climb each spring/summer until there is a call for Congressional investigation, then it levels off and declines slowly for the rest of the year. Last year was an anomaly. Anyone heard any rumors about Congress investigating?
