It is interesting, but my first impression was it is trying to make a step back toware the Gen II Prius. The bold squarer looking corners of the new front facia IMO give Gen III more of a luxurey car appearance, as they remind me of squarish corners I have seen on Lexis, Audi, Cadilac, and I have never been that fond of the square corner look before, thinking it made cars look like Bullies, but for some reason, IMO, the Prius really sports the square corners much more gracefully. Subconcious bius on my part no doubt.
Not really, to be honest. The lower opening is still much bigger than it needs to be, and I'm not keen on the shiny bit over the new nose and emblem. If I were going to the trouble and cost of this kind of mod, I'd want some kind of thermostatically-controlled opening to manage cooling airflow.
If you understand Japanese or some basic chinese, in the Japanese Prius website got a 360 degree view java in it. You can add options and it will refresh the Prius with the option with it. You can add rims, the body kit including the one shown above, chorme grille and some other cool stuff. toyota.jp/prius/exterior/three-d/index.html Have fun with it!!!
I've tried it before but it gives me this message in Japanese then closes the window if I accept it so I can't view it.
Any "mod" that adds frontal area and a big air sucking grille to the car is not good for FE. But if you don't care about FE...have at it!
I think I had the same problem before. I think because you didn't have the plug in to view the java script. After I install the plugin, then it works perfectly
