The Andromeda Leader is supposedly docking in Newark on June 15th according to the Dealer printout I was given. Figured I would update you all incase your car is coming on it.
That would be nice. I was told June 29th, but the dealer was not sure yet if that's when it docked or if that is when he should recieve the cars at his dealership. You go James!! One of these gosh darn ships should have my car on it! I wish Toyota could load up a fleet of 747 cargo planes and have them coming in one after another - faster stock, everywhere. I guess then we'd all be sitting at the airport watching planes land!
Well, when they do arrive I think there will be plenty on the ground. My "small" dealer will be getting 5 off the Andromeda , so I'm guessing the larger dealers will have plenty to meet the demand.

If you track these ships often enough you will notice they all follow the same pattern. They aren't visible until they are near the Panama Canal and to see those you need Vesseltracker. Not long after they depart the canal they disappear again. They get picked up by Marine Traffic just below or above Cuba and then they disappear again only to reappear near Florida. Then when they get close enough to Florida you can also use vesseltracker to see them but it's hours behind. Then after departing Jacksonville they disappear again and reappear on Marine Traffic when they get fairly close to Newark NJ. Then when they are close to the mouth of the Harbor you can see them with ether vesseltracker or marine traffic. I'd like to find a program that let's us see them further out from Panama but so far nothing does. vesseltracker is what you need to see them in Panama since marine traffic has no coverage in that area. It loooks like there is a steady stream of ships pouring in to the East coast now. But how many Prius are on them I can't say.

Andromeda Leader made port in Newark yesterday! I might someday get my car. What ship is due after this one. Anyone know?
my car is also on the andromeda (and hopefully offloaded and in prep). i will post when i get a definitive date at the dealership (easton md - eastern shore) if you will.
