Post subject: How to View & Join your Local Prius Club Forum -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In an effort to keep the local club discussion localized and the local topics off of every member's "Posts Since Last Visit" page, we've decided to make each Club Forum private. This means that when you view http://priuschat.com/forums/index.php?c=10 you'll see "No Posts". That is, of course, unless you want to be a member of that Local Club by joining their Usergroup. Joining a Usergroup is free & easy, and you can do it all with a couple clicks of the mouse. Simply click Usergroups at the top of the PriusChat website, select the group you want to be a member of, click "View Information", the click the "Join Group" button. Now you have full access to your Local Prius Club's discussion forum! I hope this makes it easier for everyone to stay focused on overall Prius discussion in the main forums & local Prius talk in the Local Club Forums. As always, let me know if you have any questions.
Hey, maybe we can have people pay PriusChat Points as a registration fee. 50 points to join the first group, 25 points for each subsequent group. Of course we would be socially conscious and donate points to anyone who did not have enough of their own.
Prius Groups, you say ?? Try this link to see if there's one near you: http://priusmeetup.com I'm in Dallas TX and found there was one which meets every 2nd Saturday noon at various local restaurants. Perhaps you can find one, too.
the points are not for anything as of yet, and most likely will never be for anything. you earn points by making posts. you may donate your points to others for any reason you choose. as for local groups, they were made private to reduce the number of entries you would see if you clicked on "view posts since my last visit link" it is free to join clubs and you may join as many as you want. each club reserves the right to restrict membership but to my knowledge no club has created restrictions of any kind. to join click on "usergroups" at the top and follow the prompts
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(DaveinOlyWA\";p=\"51333)</div> That's why I suggested they could be used for local group registration fees. Then they wouldn't be pointless
