    Yes, I've made some genuine friends here, and met many of them in Detroit in January. Several have travelled long distances just to see little old me, which is very flattering. I hope to return the favour this summer, but vacation plans are still in the idea stage. As in, wow, a vacation's a great idea.

    This year, I am going to make it a priority to get to Hybridfest, I think it's always in Madison. I haven't met anyone on here, but I have seen posts that were local, and those whom I have heard of. I would like to meet up with anyone interested! I should have the 2010 V with AT, so if anyone wanted to see that locally, I live in Effingham, IL. From what I understand that technology package is really something.

    Steve - I would love to try to get a NE group together this fall to drive up through NH or VT!! - I can just imagine a long line of Prii on the Kangamangus with the fall foliage!!

    Yes, I'd be in favor of helping start a New England Prius Club.
    We are in the middle of New Hampshire, I think you are down on the coast. Ther are lots of places to have a Meet and Greet and go for long scenic cruises to various places. I was a member of another car club and they did that all the time, usually on Sundays.
    MINI has a club, Miata has a club, BMW, Porsche, Corvette, Camaro/Trans Am. It's a long list. But no Prius Club. :(
    I could post it on the main forum and see what people think?
    What do you think?
