I recently bought an '09, package 4. My question: on the audio display on the MFD, at the bottom, just below and to the right of the ASL icon, there's a tiny icon of a speaker with a couple pips emerging from it, one of which occasionally looks lit up. What is that thing? Is it an indicator of the level of ambient noise in the car? The AUX input level? The owners manual didn't clue me in.
any chance we can get a picture? Google didn't turn up anything I can refer to and I'm just not motivated enough right now to go power up my car to figure out what you're talking about.
Previous Posts how to use dsp? or asl? (automatic sound levelizer) In the manual it mentions DSP control which allows you to fine tune the audio based on where you're sitting in the car. But I can't find this control under the audio control screen like it says. I have package #5 with the 9 speakers so I assume if it comes with any package it'd be this one. Anyone know? http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-...ow-use-dsp-asl-automatic-sound-levelizer.html
Press the Sound icon. You can adjust bass, treble, mid and sound distribution to the speakers. I don't know about DSP.
