What dealership is this? I am getting mine at Expressway Toyota in Dorchester.

 

Acton Toyota. You're close by, come on up and visit! My sales rep is going to let me know when they have it ready to drive (not yet as of 5min ago). I may sneak over this afternoon once he confirms it's set.

I believe they only received 4 cars but didn't verify that yet: 2 for orders, 1 for a demo and 1 for service. Unfortunately, my car isn't in this lot, but there will be a couple of very happy people in the area.

 

AAAAAH! They are into torturing us now. Here's the latest from my rep:
In a weird twist the cars are heading back on the truck ... I will let you know.

Someone Looked up their 2010 orders and said 2 were coming in.

No idea when, :noidea: But He did say one had my name on it.:hungry:

He also said the ship just hit Newark Today ?? :crazy: And Normally it takes about 7 - 10 Days from that point to arrive :whoo:
At Least I Know One Had my Name on it :cheer2:

 

I'm on The List at Acton as well. But I'm sure I'm not in this load.

They take the cars off the truck and now they are putting them back on it???? :hurt:

That might be mine! From Mass it's just a couple of hours to the NH dealership I've ordered at. Mine is also on F status as of monday. So I'm hoping! :cheer2:

 

My dealer just emailed me. He says my car is still in Newark but has all the accesories I ordered (door sills, bumper protection, vip alarm) installed. He says that the car is still on target for Friday or Monday at the latest.

 

Perhaps Mine Is Taking A Bit Longer As They Do Have To Install The Carpet and Trunk Mats .

 

I've had no news from my dealer. My attempt at contacting the dealer got a response of 'Don't know, will call with news when we hear'. I haven't seen anyone else from Maryland on this thread and no hopeful information. It looks like I'll be waiting a long time. Anyone in cetnral Maryland have any better news?

I don't think anyone in this area has any more info right now or for certain it would be posted.
my dealer doesn't like me calling up and asking for status reports, so he just doesn't answer or return my calls.
It's very frustrating! I'm sure as soon as cars arrive on the dealers lots we will hear about it fairly quickly.

 

Acton got to keep the cars! Yippee! I'm set to go check out the 2010 tomorrow at 2pm. Sales rep said it's been on the road since it arrived. He's been busy and hasn't given me his impression yet (as if he's not going to like it<g>). I'll add my impressions, we've got a list of things to check out based on the pros and cons posted. That's been helpful.

 

only a small problem the titles are not ship with the car. Im still waiting not the car but the title

 

The title never comes with the car. I haven't titled a car in MA in a few years, but if I remember correctly, the dealer will give you a certificate of origin and help you fill out an RMV-1 form. The dealer should give you a car with a plate on it and registration and the state will mail you the title in a couple of weeks.

 

perhaps i misunderstood him the certificate of origin is not ship with the car
